30

I turned 30 last Thursday. It’s a big milestone, and I feel very proud and content with everything I was able to experience and accomplish in the last decade. I completed my higher education (bachelors and masters degrees and a TESOL certification), I was able to see some of the world (Americas, Asia, Caribbean, and Europe), I was able to live in Korea for a year where I met my brilliant husband, and I gave birth to the two most beautiful baby girls I know.

I’m excited to see what the next ten years will bring as they will be less about my own experiences, and more focused on finding knowledge through events for my whole family. Here’s to ten years filled with adventure, education, laughter and love.

Below are some photos of the birthday fun last week. Celebrations started at my editorial meeting on Wednesday, then with diner at Jen and Paige’s house on Thursday, and concluded with my parent’s coming for a visit yesterday. When Reuben returns we plan on celebrating both of our birthdays together as well. Even though Reuben wasn’t able to be with us, the white and black diamond earrings were greatly appreciated =)
