Fill in the Blank Friday

1. I am very blessed. I have a husband who loves me, faults and all, and two beautiful daughters.

2. The bravest thing I've ever done was taking a ten (or was is twelve?) hour bus ride through Thailand in the middle of the night. That was interesting to say the least, and I paid the extra bucks for a plane ticket on my way out of Ben Bin. I’m not sure if that was brave, adventurous, or stupid. I guess it’s a combo platter. I’ve also had ER visits in three different countries.

3. I feel prettiest when I’ve just had my hair done at the salon or when I’m wearing a hot pair of shoes. The second is tough these days since I’m usually holding at least one child when I’m out and about.

4. Something that keeps me awake at night is sick babies. I can never sleep when the girls are sick. I always get up throughout the night to poke them and make sure they’re still breathing. I used to feel really silly about this until my parents told me my dad used to do the same thing to me. I also have crazy reoccurring nightmares. I suppose the most out there dream is James Cromwell trying to kill me. I’ve had that one many times. I’ve also died, and had Reuben and my daughters die, in my dreams which is incredibly frightening.

5. My favorite meal in the entire world is impossible to name. I adore pretty much anything Asian, Central/South American, European, Caribbean… gosh I guess I just really enjoy eating. Please hold the meat, tomatoes, avocados, and mayonnaise though.

6. The way to my heart is through random acts of kindness.

7. I would like to have never ending energy. I try to be unstoppable, but it can be tiring keeping up with an infant and toddler while trying to stay true to myself and be a good wife to my husband.
