Today you’re four months old! You’re at a very fun age, and I love watching you smile and giggle.
You were baptized this month at the First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma. Both sets of your grandparents were able to come up as well as your great-great aunt and uncle from North Dakota. You didn’t like your gown or the church’s pipe organ, and you weren’t a fan of the sprinkling of water either. Although, you looked so precious that nobody noticed. After the baptism we went out for a delicious brunch at the Lobster Shop. The weather was perfect for March, and we enjoyed the picturesque view of the Puget Sound.
You’re always talking, and sometimes it sounds like you’re already saying mama. I wish I knew what you were chatting about.
You love sitting in your Bumbo seat. It’s amazing to me how long you’ll sit on your own when you were just inside my belly four months ago. You’ve also started rolling over. You would really like to log roll after your sister, but you’re not quite there yet. You’re such a strong girl, and I’m sure you’ll be chasing after her in no time.
You’re in the 99th percentile for height and have grown, on average, two inches a month since birth. I think you’re going to be a model or basketball player. Your long legs have you wearing a nine month pant and sleeper size. Your daddy and I have a queen size bed, and you like to sprawl out in the middle, leaving no room for anyone else.
This last week has been rough. We’ve all been sick. Chloe brought in a viral infection and passed it on to your daddy, then myself, and now you have it as well. I bought you a blanket doll the other day, and she seems to be helping to keep your spirits up. You’re a little mama just like Chloe.
I’m excited to watch you grow during the next month.
Love Always,
Mommy
I'm really sick, but I'll post Calista's video soon.
