1. I love going out with my daughters because even if one is being less than perfect, I get told at least a dozen times that they’re the most adorable girls ever, and I can’t argue with that =)
2. A time that mama knew best was after we had to postpone our wedding due to the military surge in Iraq. It was a torturous time for me emotionally (I had just lost Pop and Reuben’s father passed unexpectedly as well), and I couldn’t handle any more bad news. I can’t thank my mom enough for making all of the wedding postponement calls for me. I just couldn’t do it.
3. My first kiss went a little like this… Brian Boone (he was a senior and I was a sophomore, ooh lala) took me to see Vegas Vacation and gave me a big kiss during the movie. My first kiss with Reuben was on the main street through Itaewon in Seoul, South Korea. It was less than an hour after we met, hehe ;)
4. My celebrity crushes are Johnny Depp, Clive Owen, Philip Seymour Hoffman (Reuben thinks that one is gross), and Angelina Jolie.
5. My splurge of choice is shoes, shoes, and more shoes =)
6. My biggest accomplishments are completing graduate school at the young age of 23, and traveling through Asia, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean and Hawaiian Islands in my early-mid 20s. By having all of these amazing life experiences before becoming a mother, I feel I can now give my all to my most important job in this life.
7. My dance jam of choice is the 90s on 9 or 80s on 8.
