Dear Cruz,

 

Today you’re one month old! Daddy, Chloe, Calista, and I can’t even remember the world without you in it. You’re such a love.
 

Your sisters adore you and are your mini mamas; Chloe especially can’t get enough of you. They are working on being gentle with you, but it’s a slow process. Hopefully you’ll make it through your first year without any dents.
 

You love to snuggle and nurse. It’s been such a treat for me since I had such a struggle producing milk when your sisters were babies. I wish I could supply you even more milk, but I love that special time we have together.

 

You’re very strong; I caught you flipping from your tummy to your back once, and you’re always swinging your arms and legs around. You would love to be able to keep up with your sisters, and you often cry when they take off without you. You’ll be thrilled when you’re strong and coordinated enough to crawl.
 

You’ve had a couple visitors from out of town this month. Your grandma and papa were here the week of your birth, and my friend April was here for a couple days the following week. They loved spending time with you and can’t wait to see you again.
 

You lost a pound after you were born, but you’re now in 0-3 month clothing, and I’m sure you’re past your birth weight now.
 

You have a sweet temperament and only cry when I’m too slow with your milk or have you on your stomach for tummy time. Chloe and Calista weren’t big fans of tummy time either.
 

You’re very good in restaurants which has been great for your sisters as they enjoy going out for pizza, Mexican, and pancakes.
 

I love you with my whole heart; you’re such a blessing to our family. I can’t wait to watch you grow and form into your own unique little person.
