Today you’re
two months old! You’re precious, and I can’t get enough of you.
This was a
transition month. Your daddy was able to take one month of leave to help me
recover from the c-section, mainly by watching your sisters. It was such a
treat. He took them to their classes, and we were able to stay at home and
cuddle. Your first week with Daddy at work was frustrating for you; Daddy’s
second week back was in California which left Mommy very busy, and that was
another switch to your schedule. At
first you weren’t the biggest fan of being lugged to preschool, play dates,
crafty hands, and swimming lessons. Now you seem to enjoy our time out and
about. The girls’ friends like to give you love, and you really enjoy the
attention.
The hair on
the top of your head is growing back in. The entire top half fell out, leaving just
the sides. You looked like a teeny tiny middle-aged man for awhile, but you
made it work.
You’re very
strong. You’re starting to soldier crawl, and you can pull yourself off your tummy
time mat. I know you’re desperate to keep up with your sisters. Sometimes they
scare you with their intense hugs and kisses, on the other hand you usually cry
if they run off to play without you. You’ll be thrilled when you can join them
in all of their activities.
You don’t
like it when I eat, and you’re stuck watching. I try to feed you right before I
eat, but usually you decide you haven’t had enough when you see that I have
something more interesting than milk. Not that you’ve given up your love for
boobies. You love them, and they calm you down whenever you get fussy. Speaking of eating, you now weigh 11 pounds 15 ounces and are 23 inches long.
I love that
you smile when I enter a room, and it’s been so much fun to listen to you coo.
You’re such an angel, and the entire family can’t get enough of you. It’s
amazing to be able to watch you take in your world. You’re a blessing, and our
family loves you more every day.
Love Always,
Mommy
